people take down the old building ,in order to build a new one.whether we should keep the old or not is a complex problem.in my opinion,for those of great value,we shouldn't pull dowwn them,but for the disrepaired ones,we can knocked down them.
some acient buildings show us the chinese history and culture,as well as human civilization and people's life during certian period.they may help us learning from the old times.If we pull them down,we cannot get them back.
for those which are useless,we could tear them down and build new one.we are in need of place for our schools and hospitals.with the population increased,we need more room to live.so we make high-rise buildings instead of the old houses.
in conclusion,we should keep the valuable building while tear down the useless one,so that we may have a enjoyable life.
