Last night i saw the interview of BEIJING mayor LiuQi,when ask what are the most worries ,the mayor said that are safety,trafic and envirement!that's true!the chinese goverment want to hold a sucessful game ,they must get rid of these problems!
it's just two years to complete all of these stuffs!the duty is not just the chinese goverment,all chinese people should do their best to welcome the beginning of BEIJING OLYMPIC GAMES!
the 2008 beijing olympic is a chance to let all world to know china,so the chinese goerment and all chinese people hope we should make this games is the best one in the history!

In July 2001,the news said our capital,Beijing is going to host the 2008 Olympic Games.When I heard the news,I was amazed and excited.I couldn't believe it.But it was true.
I am really proud of my great motherland,China!As a student,what can I do for the Beijing Olympics?
My mom gave me a alot of advice.She said to me,"Lorin,I think you can be a good volunteer at the 2008 Olympic Games.You can help the people who can't speak Mandarin."
I said to her,"Mom,what should I do to be a great volunteer?"
Mom said to me with a smile,"If you want to go to Beijing during the games,you must practice your pronunciation every day.Next,you must be a polite girl.Maybe you can make friends with many foreign people."
Mom's words encouraged me a lot.To realize my dream,from now on,I must study hard to improve my English.Next,I have to grasp some knowledge of sports,which I think will be very important for an Olympic volnteer.
Maybe in 2008,you will see a girl called Lorin Lo in Beijing.She'll be a great volunteer.

My Olympic Dream
More than two years ago, Due to my love on sports,I took part in the sports training team and became a high-jump athlete. I love sport, so I tried, and I succeeded. I earned flowers and applauses. Then came the heartbreaking moment when I had to make an alternative between sport and study. For the reason of living up to the expectation of my parents, I ended up being an ordinary student. From then on, I could only put my dream in the bottom of my heart --my Olympic dream.

I have been holding on to my dream, not as a professional athlete, but as a faithful audience. I put all my enthusiasm and passion on it, as if I was one of its participants. I cheer when our athletes perform well, I cry when they lose. Olympics is a magnificent stage for athletes, where everyone pursues his ideal and strikes for his dream. All athletes battle their way from the very beginning because they want to conquer themselves and prove to the world that they are not weak! I like the laughs of athletes, because they are the most shining, confident and touching ones I’ve ever seen.

The Olympics reminds me of the bittersweet days when I was trained hard. Thanks to that precious experience, I have been equipped with the virtues of an athlete-- hard work, perseverance, toughness and passion, from which I benefit a lot. Whenever I run into difficulty, I manage to keep optimistic and firm, because there’s always a sound echoing in my heart, “Come on. You can do it.” Yes, I can do it. I work harder and harder, and now I’ve become a top student of our school, also a strong man of life. Sometimes I just have the illusion that I am still an athlete, because a fire still burns in my heart. Though it’s impossible for me to take part in the sports Olympics, I still expect other “Olympics” in my life and I will try my best to fulfill my champion dream there.
