我觉得这更多的是一种语言习惯问题
英语口语里用something表示夸奖，比如Wow, you're something! 和That is something!等等。
甚至用the shit也表示夸奖（一定要有定冠词the），比如This is the shit, man! How did you get it?(意思是“太棒了，找的就是它，你怎么搞到的？”）。
回到原题，B也是可以用的，但显得较为严肃，不如A...
