怎么突然发现有这么多人要考SAT.对中国的教育绝望了么.
1.在OG中经常会认为一个句子中如果出现两个以上上的复数名词,则复数代词
会出现指代不清的错误,然而在实战中是不能仅仅凭这一个准则来判断句子的正误.在指代原则中有一条就近指代原则:当一个句子中出现两个以上的复数名词时,复数代词优先指代离它近的复数名词,这条原则用样适用于单数名词.所以这里its就近修饰前面的名词.
2.desirous这个词在LODEC里面的解释是wanting something very much,并有desirous of的用法.所以可见必须是人发出的这个动作.
3.同楼上所说,从句动词retired,serve在retired发生之前,所以用现在完成时错.
4.按照你的理解来看这里的display是动词,但是从句已经存在enjoy这个动词了.不肯能出现两个谓语动词.所以this display是指"这种展示".只有that从句才会修饰前面的名词.this没有这个用法.
总之,做题前还是恶补下语法吧.特别是平行结构,逻辑关系和idioms.大概90%左右的题目都能解决.

in its treatment，treatment限制了its的范围。正是因为有了后面的treatment，its才不会是指代其它（diagnosis,use,technology）
2、D是用词错误。查了下desirous这个词，看到以下例句：
