望夫处,江悠悠.化为石,不回头.
山头日日风复雨,行人归来石应语.

她已不知道自己在这里伫立了有多久,一天,两天?还是一年,两年?或许是更久!她只能确定的是她要等他回来.她相信他会回来,因为他说过,他会永远记得她,不会抛弃她.他一定记得那个一直在江畔等他回家的妻子,所以他一定会回来.
时间还是无情的流逝,她知道自己的双腿已经麻木,身体慢慢变得坚硬.但她必须等,等他回来.她不敢挪动半步,怕错过他回来的瞬间.但时间过的越来越越长了,她清楚的知道自己可能等不到他回来的那一刻了.于是一颗泪滴从她的脸庞滑落.在脚边那颗泪水落下的地方,一棵绛紫色的小草破土而生.
远远的他看到了那熟悉的身影不禁欣喜若狂.等他上岸的一刻,他呆住了,看到了只是已经化为石像的妻子.任他怎么叫唤,但她却没有一句回答.绝望的他扑倒在石像的脚旁,倏倏的眼泪滑落在地,滴在那快要枯萎的绛紫色的小草上,那小草竟然奇迹的复舒.
