我们用排除法做题吧
...ancestor's who...指代不清,排除a.b.
...who was...时态错误,既然前面说...today are descended...说明这东西仍旧 is thought to...排除b.e
下一个错误是...whom it...造成从句结构混乱,所以排除c.e
就只剩下d了
这里d 是正确的,这里它不是用的完成时,而是不定式的完成时（perfect infinitives）
这种用法,我可以告诉你在这里是正确的,但是解释起来比较麻烦,也没必要
GMAT 程度的语法,是不需要了解这么深的
因为现代英语里,不定式完成时用得非常有限,通常只出现于虚拟语气之类的特定情况
你在一般的语法书里应该已经找不到了
GMAT SC 里确实会涉及到这种级别的语法现象,但不会是考点,而是作为迷惑点
换句话说,像这道题,你完全可以靠排除法排除其他四个明显错误
考的是你基本知识掌握的牢靠程度,但千万别较真,考试时时间来不及的
