AIDS,or HIV,is a fatal disease which breaks down our immune systems and finally,die of other kinds of illness such as lung cancer and kidney failure.
AIDS patients are often seen as infectious,even though many know that the virus would only be transmitted through mediums such as blood of the patients,and needles used by them.Many people do not even dare to have body contact with AIDS patients.
With such discrimination towards AIDS patients,can people agree to let these patients participate in the Olympics?
In my opinion,AIDS patients should participate in the Olympics.
The Olympics is opened to the paralysed,and this encourages the paralysed to live a better life towards exercising,being active,and feel useful.I think being able to take part in the Olympic games is a great honour regardless of whether the participant wins or not.If AIDS patients were able to participate in this historic event,I am sure that they will feel encouraged.This might be helpful towards their disease as positive moods and passion have been proven to be able to make patients who suffer from fatal diseases to live longer.
Therefore,I think that AIDS patients should participate in the Olympic games,as this not only makes the patients stronger,but at the same time make known to the world that having AIDS is not the end of the world.

Should People Who Suffer from AIDS Take Part in the Olympics?
We had a discussion about whether the AIDS patients should take part in the Olympics.Some people say that they should take part in the Olympics as other people do.Although they suffer from HIV disease,they can do sports too,such as running,high-jump and long-jump.What's more, taking sports can help build up their bodies,which is useful to their health.But other people don't agree.They believe that those AIDS patients are in poor condition and lack of the abilities of doing exercises.In addition,doing sports would make their health worse.In my opinion,I think AIDS patients should take part in the Olympics.They should be given more chances to take exercises and display themselves.
